The Medical Scribe Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing recruiting plans, building a pipeline of potential candidates, sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, and hiring qualified talent. This individual will oversee a region throughout the United States and work with a dynamic talent acquisition team. The Medical Scribe Recruiter reports to the Recruitment Manager.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Source and recruit candidates through various methods, including but not limited to: Applicant Tracking System (iCims), social media, professional networking associations and events, industry contacts, job boards, job fairs, employee/manager referrals.
  • Build rapport with managers and gain an understanding of their business and their team dynamics. 
  • Review resumes, evaluate candidates’ qualifications and conduct initial phone screens. Inform candidates of the job responsibilities, compensation and benefits programs, work schedule and career advancement opportunities.
  • Attend professional networking events, university/college recruiting events, open houses and job fairs.
  • Represent Elite Medical Scribes by showing the perfect balance of: enthusiasm, confidence, charisma, respect, humility, and kindness.
  • Post positions internally and externally and make recommendations and adjustments to strategies by position.
  • Ensure that every candidate has a positive interview experience, regardless of outcome.
  • Engage with our target audience by attending meet-ups and seeking out other avenues through which to make connections and promote Elite Medical Scribes.
  • Keep candidates, hiring managers, and leadership apprised of status and updates through regular communication and/or meetings.


Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) experience in a Recruiter, Recruitment Coordinator, Recruitment Admin, Sourcing, Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition role.
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good communications skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and constraints.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team (be self-directed, energetic, motivated, driven, and humble).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College recruiting experience preferred.
  • Medical industry experience preferred.
  • iCims (ATS) experience preferred.
  • High-volume recruiting experience preferred.

Supervisory responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical demands and working conditions:

  • Standard office environment.
  • Frequent job activities include standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling and hand/eye/foot coordination 40-75% of the time.
  • Occasional job activities may require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions less than 24% of the time.
